I-405 crash ties up traffic in Bothell

Traffic backed up four miles as a result of an accident on I-405 on Thursday evening.

A three-car collision occurred on southbound I-405 south of Highway 527 just before 6 p.m., a Washington State Patrol spokeswoman said.

Nobody was seriously hurt, she said.

According to the state Department of Transportation, two left lanes remained blocked until about 6:45 p.m. causing traffic to back up to I-5 in Lynnwood.
