Everett City Council, 8:30 a.m. today, City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The city’s planning department is scheduled to give a presentation on proposed new residential standards for neighborhoods just outside the downtown area, as well as an expansion of a historic district into the Riverside Neighborhood. The presentation will last 30 to 45 minutes.
Granite Falls City Council, 7 p.m. tonight, Council Chambers, 206 S. Granite Ave. Discussions on a sign ordinance and the city’s Web site are among the scheduled items.
Lake Stevens Planning Commission, 7 p.m. tonight, Community-Senior Center, 1808 Main St. A public hearing on the Zacky-Trunell-Dailey rezone is planned.
Snohomish County Noxious Weed Control Board, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, 19700 67th Ave. NE, Arlington, at the county’s road maintenance shop.
Lakewood School Board, 6:30 p.m. tonight, in the Lakewood High School library, 17023 11th Ave NE. The board plans to decide on a grant-funded social worker position next school year and to discuss the transportation vehicle fund.
