Peeved at CNBC over this week’s debate, the Republican National Committee has severed its partnership with NBC News for a debate set for February. Meanwhile, GOP campaigns are set to meet Sunday to air grievances about the debates and suggest changes.
One possible change: All future debates will be moderated by Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Donald Trump’s hair colorist.
Quick! boil water: Stuck in hideous morning rush hour traffic on I-5 on the way to the hospital Friday, a woman gave birth on the Mercer Street offramp in Seattle.
Mom, Dad and the baby boy are all doing fine, and that isn’t the only good news: Commuters made it to work before the kid started talking.
Check your feet, big guy: A documentary set to air Tuesday on HBO will look at the life of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The NBA legend has guest-starred on a number of shows over the years, including a gig as a substitute teacher on “Diff’rent Strokes” in 1982.
The amazing thing isn’t that the 7-foot-2 Kareem played a substitute teacher, but that he managed to avoid stepping on Gary Coleman.
