Prep girls soccer: Squalicum 2, Shorecrest 1

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Peyton Fowler broke a 1-1 tie in the 49th minute to give unbeaten Squalicum the win over Shorecrest in the 2A District 1 title game on Saturday.

Sophia Viviano scored Shorecrest’s only goal of the night in the 39th minute in response to Squalicum’s goal in the 19th minute by Kim Dorn.

Both teams will advance to the 2A state tournament next weekend.
