Schack Art Center: 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett; 425-259-5050; www.schack.org. Teen Nights at Schack return 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 8. These free, after-hours events are just for teens and include up to four different hands-on art project stations where teens get to meet and work with local artists, as well as enjoy refreshments and glassblowing demonstrations. Artists Julie Perrine, Anna Mastronardi Novak, Jesse Nelson and Tina Larkin teach the first Teen Night. The “All Natural” Glass Exhibit opens 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 8, featuring 15 contemporary glass artists whose work references nature, although sometimes in an unexpected way. Participating artists include Joseph BenVenuto, Courtney Branam, Butter Eaters, Rebecca Chernow, CUD, Jen Elek, Daniel Joseph Friday, Sarah Gilbert, Amie McNeel, Samuel McMillen, Kelly O’Dell, Kait Rhoads, Amy Rueffert and Jennifer Umphress. Also, opening on Oct. 8 is an exhibit of new work by the artists in the 2014 Pilchuck Emerging Artists in Residence program at Pilchuck Glass School in north Snohomish County.

The Sisters: 2804 Grand Ave., Everett; 425-252-0480; www.thesistersrestaurant.com; 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. A fundraiser exhibit by All Aboard, a nonprofit that works with adults with disabilities, is up through Oct. 30. More than 90 pieces are exhibited and are for sale.

Surrealist sculptor Tip Toland: The free event is 2 p.m. Oct. 3, Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave. Toland plans to give an overview of surrealism, show some of the works of its key practitioners, and discusses how such works inspired her own sculptures. She then conducts surrealist “games” these artists use to “get out of their own way” and expand their thinking.

Previously Loved Art Sale: The 12th annual sale is 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 3, at ArtWorks, Second and Dayton, downtown Edmonds. Find paintings, drawings, sculpture, art posters, crafts, art books and periodicals and art supplies. Also, it’s not too late to donate your previously loved art for the sale. Bring your donations to ArtWorks between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, Thursday or Friday or call 425-774-6049 to make an appointment. Donations are tax deductible. ArtWorks is a gathering place for artists offering classes, workshops and exhibit space and is supported by the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation. Cascadia Art Museum: The new museum, located at 190 Sunset Ave., Edmonds, currently shows works featured in the Northwest Watercolor Society’s new book celebrating its 75th anniversary. The show runs through Jan. 3. Admission is $10. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and until 8 p.m. on Thursday. The museum is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
