Political ploy by Gore

The blatant political ploy by the Clinton-Gore administration to release oil from the emergency reserve is disgusting. It will have little impact on heating oil this winter because refineries are at near 100 percent capacity. Benign neglect, bizarre environmental policy and lack of a coherent energy policy are the reason for increased price and shortage. They should be trying to break up OPEC instead of Microsoft.
