Mail ballots in time to get Tuesday postmark

Published 12:38 pm Monday, August 3, 2015

Voters who send their ballots by mail Tuesday need to be sure that they send them in time to get a Tuesday postmark.

That means leaving them by 5 p.m. at the downtown Edmonds post office or the Perrinville post office or by 6 p.m. at the Lynnwood post office.

Voters can leave ballots without postage until 8 p.m. Tuesday at ballot drop boxes in front of the Lynnwood City Hall, near the Edmonds Library or at nine other sites around Snohomish County. They also can vote in person until 8 p.m. on an accessible voting unit at the Lynnwood Library.
