Prep boys soccer: Glacier Peak 3, Everett 2 (OT)

SNOHOMISH — Glacier Peak goalie Andrew Weakley notched an assist in the fifth minute of overtime as the Grizzlies (12-0 league, 14-0 overall) edged the Seagulls (5-7, 6-8) in a Wesco 3A game. Weakly punted the ball 75 yards to Shane Miller, who slotted a shot past Everett keeper Tanner Jelinek to win the game. GP jumped out to an early lead when Gregor Troost scored on a free kick in the fourth minute. David Gebert converted a penalty kick in the 39th minute to tie the score. Troost put the Grizzlies up by a goal again in the 55th minute on a Branson Corwin assist. Gebert then equalized for the second time on the night for Everett with an unassisted goal in the 62nd minute.
