Group plans I-5 demonstration against drunk driving

ARLINGTON — Volunteers from the Snohomish County DUI Victim Panel plan what they’re calling the first-ever freeway overpass demonstration against drunken driving this Saturday.

People plan to meet at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of the old Weller’s Chalet restaurant at the I-5 Arlington/Highway 530 exit.

The protest is scheduled to last until about noon, organizers said.
