Woman allegedly shoots neighbor in the foot after argument

LAKE STEVENS — A woman shot her neighbor in the foot after an argument Friday afternoon, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a house at the 14700 block of 84th St NE.

A 45-year-old woman was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with a gunshot wound. She was conscious when deputies arrived around 3:30 p.m.

The other woman, who was in her 30s, was arrested for investigation of assault.

A gun was recovered at the scene.
