Avril Lavigne coming to Everett

Avril Lavigne, everybody’s favorite complicated sk8er girlfriend, is coming to Everett.

The pop princess fond of punk style plans to play a show May 10 at Comcast Arena at the Everett Events Center. Tickets are $35 and $47.50, not including service charges, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 9.

Lavigne has sold nearly 30 million albums worldwide, according to Live Nation, and her latest record, “The Best Damn Thing,” went platinum in June.
