Concerts: The Melvins, Washington’s own

It doesn’t seem like there are a ton of good shows going on sale this week, and so I wanted to take a second to mention Ladyhawk’s gig at Neumos.

The indie rock band sounds a bit like labelmates Okkervil River, with a dash of Wolf Parade tossed in. Ladyhawk, out of Vancouver, CA, is opening for the Constantines on June 29. Get tickets here.

I’ll update this list of concerts if other shows catch my eye, but so far, we’ve just got one show, and while it has a presale, I don’t have the password, tragically.

As always, prices don’t include service fees or other charges.

  • The Melvins, at Showbox at the Market, Seattle, presale from now to 10 p.m. Friday, $20. Sorry, I don’t have a password. Tickets for the July 26 show on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.
