Have you decided it’s time to adopt a new furry friend? Here are some places you can start looking for your new best four-legged friend.

Camano Animal Shelter Association: 160 Can Ku Road, Camano Island; 360-387-1902, www.camanoanimal shelter.org. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. $100 per cat, $115 with microchip; $135 per dog for off-island residents; $142, including $7 for license, for island residents.

Everett Animal Shelter: 2732 36th St., Everett; 425-257-6000, www.everettwa.org. 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Sundays. $90 to $140, depending on size and breed.

Homeward Pet Adoption Center: 18800 Woodinville-Snohomish Road, Woodinville; 425-488-4444, www.homewardpet.org. 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays, noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. $100 per kitten or adult cat; $175 for two kittens or adult cats; $150 per adult dog; $225 per puppy or small dog; $60 for senior cats, dogs and special-needs pets.

NOAH Animal Adoption and Spay/Neuter Center: 31300 Brandstrom Road, Stanwood; 360-629-7055, www.thenoahcenter.org. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. $100 per cat or kitten; $100 to $450 per dog, $200 to $500 per puppy, depending on age, size and breed.

Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS): 15305 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood; 425-787-2500, www.paws.org. Noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, noon to 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. $100 per adult dog, $90 per adult cat, $140 per puppy, $105 per kitten; $200 for two kittens on same day; $75 per senior cat or dog.

Purrfect Pals cat-only shelter: 230 McRae Road NE, Arlington; 360-652-9611, www.purrfectpals.org. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. $100 per cat, includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.
