On New Year’s Eve there is going to be one heck of a dance party going down at the WaMu Theater in Seattle and it is going to be headlined by one of the top electronic music groups from the UK, Nero. Really big events on New Years Eve don’t tend to be my thing, but this is too good to pass up.
I had the pleasure of seeing Nero perform during Identity Fest at the Gorge this year and was a little caught off guard. I had heard of Nero but didn’t really know what to expect. The show blew me away to say the least. After seeing Nero put on a great show at an outdoor venue in the middle of the day I cannot wait to see what kind of show they put together on New Years Eve, in a packed theater with what is sure to be an impressive laser and light show. I’m imagining something like the cave rave scene from The Matrix Reloaded.
So if you don’t have plans yet for celebrating the end of 2011 and want to dubstep your way into the new year, then this might be the party for you. If you aren’t familiar with Nero, check out the video below. This show should be a ton of fun.
