Take a wine-and-chocolate day trip to the Yakima Valley

Liven up February with some red wine and chocolate on a romantic Clipper Getaways excursion to the Yakima Valley.

The Feb. 19 day trip begins with a deluxe motor coach picking you up at either Pier 69 in Seattle (7:15 a.m.) or the Red Lion Hotel, 11211 Main St., Bellevue (7:45 a.m.). Return will be at about 8 p.m. to Bellevue and 8:20 p.m. to Seattle.

A continental breakfast will be provided during the scenic ride to the Yakima Valley. A commemorative, keepsake wineglass will be yours for the tastings at several wineries in the valley. Each wine will be paired with some chocolate treats.

The tour includes a guide and a boxed lunch to enjoy along the way.
