T-Rex skull: A T-Rex skull, all wrapped up in protective plaster, along with other T-Rex bones, is on display at the Burke Museum in Seattle. A Burke team discovered the fossil. Special events are planned on Sept. 25; www.burkemuseum.org/calendar/i-dig-dinos.

Sky Valley Farm Festival: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 8; tour working farms, tractor-pulled wagons, educations displays; free; 360-739-0983.

Northwest Folklife’s Seattle Children’s Festival: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 9, Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion and Armory, 305 Harrison St. Seattle. Imagine Children’s Museum: 1502 Wall St., Everett. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
