Alderwood mall shooting suspects arrested after car chase

LYNNWOOD — Four people were arrested Sunday night after a shooting in a parking lot at the Alderwood mall, according to the Lynnwood Police Department.

Gunshots were reported in the parking lot near the Macy’s around 8:50 p.m. Police learned there were four suspects and no injuries, and believe only one suspect shot a gun over someone stealing a cell phone.

But the suspects allegedly fled in two different vehicles with police chasing them, according to the Lynnwood Police Department. One car crashed in Mountlake Terrace and the two people inside were arrested.

The other suspects abandoned the vehicle they were driving in Mountlake Terrace until a police dog found them and officers arrested them.
