A fire caused an estimated $65,000 damage and left two Marysville families without apartments Saturday.
The fire broke out about 5:41 a.m. in the laundry room of an apartment building at 6637 Armar Road and quickly spread to two adjoining apartments via a common roof, said Marysville Fire Department Lt. Scott Goodale.
Damage to the building was estimated at $50,000. The contents were valued at $15,000. No one was injured, Goodale said.
