Here’s how some of your taxes were spent during recent city council actions.

Everett: $35,282 to Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway to allow the city to cross railroad tracks on the riverfront property.

$1.67 million to Carollo Engineers of Phoenix to design a new 6.7-million-gallon well at the city’s water filtration plant.

$2.98 million for city employee payroll for the pay period ending June 9.

Lake Stevens: An additional $1,206 per year to Advantage Building Services of Everett for janitorial services.

Snohomish: $413 to U.S. Postmaster for postage from June 11 to 21.

$510 to All Seasons Storage of Lake Stevens for storage of vehicles.

$150 to a Snohomish police officer for a lost watch at an accident scene.
