Crews tackle small forest fire near Sultan

Crews with the state Department of Natural Resources and Fire District 5 responded to a forest fire off of Cedar Ponds Road south of Sultan about 9 p.m. Sunday.

The fire was reported to be about 200 by 100 yards in dimension. No structures were said to be damaged or threatened. It was unclear late Sunday whether the fire was contained.
