EDMONDS — The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce is at risk of cancelling the “Edmonds Kind of 4th” if it does not reach its goal of 40 participants by June 21.

“To make it a parade we need parade entries,” said Greg Urban, Edmonds Chamber president and CEO.

The Chamber is encouraging everyone from religious groups to sports teams, neighborhood groups and nonprofits to register.

As of Friday, only 15 groups are set to march in the parade — that’s less than a quarter of the average participation.

More information about registration can be found at EdmondsFourth.com.
