EVERETT — A man killed when he was attacked with a shovel earlier this month has been identified as Eric M. Lisenbey, 32, of Everett.

Lisenbey was allegedly assaulted by his ex-roommate, Sable Rodriguez, March 7 in the 7500 block of Juniper Drive. He sustained numerous blows to his head and neck.

Lisenbey died March 9 of blunt force injuries to the head, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office announced Monday.

Rodriguez, 32, was charged in Superior Court last week with attempted murder in the first degree, domestic violence assault in the first degree, and domestic burglary in the first degree.

District Court Judge Anthony Howard found probable cause on all three counts Wednesday and ordered Rodriguez be held on $1 million bail.
