Fierce competition on the sand in Edmonds

More than 250 people, from families to day camp group members, took part in Edmonds’ annual Sand Sculpting Contest at Marina Beach on Tuesday. Participants signed up in three categories: Children, Adult/Family and Day Camp/Daycare/Large Group. The top two in each category won a beach bucket filled with saltwater taffy. Honorable mention winners received bags of saltwater taffy.
