EVERETT — Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County’s annual Raise the Roof fundraiser is scheduled for 5-8:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Lynnwood Event Center, 3711 196th St. SW, a press release said.
Tickets are $95 and go toward Habitat’s goal of raising $150,000, according to the organization’s website. Full tables can also be booked at one time.
Money can already be donated online, spokesperson Mark Tintinger said in an interview. The event will include dinner and a silent auction.
Auction items include Puget Sound whale watching aboard the San Juan Clipper, a stay at the Tulalip Resort Casino and Maroon 5 concert tickets, Tintinger said.
Habitat will also tell the stories of local homeowners and partner families during the event, Tintinger said.
“It is so important for our audience to see the lasting impact their support makes,” he said. “Every dollar given, every hour volunteered, every connection made helps build a stronger, more sustainable Snohomish County and can be seen in these inspiring stories.”
Tintinger expects around 200 guests to be in attendance, he said.
Funds raised will support the organization’s mission to provide safe, decent and affordable housing for individuals and families working toward strength, stability and self-reliance through homeownership, the release said.
