2 Franklin jail guards accused of drug dealing

TRI-CITIES — Two Franklin County jail guards are jailed in Spokane, facing federal drug conspiracy charges.
Kevin Still and Sonya Symons of Pasco are accused of using connections with a jail inmate to try to get in the marijuana distribution business. Symons’ brother, Troy Green of Spokane, also is accused.
The Tri-City Herald reports all three are due in federal court Wednesday in Spokane for a bail hearing.
The three were arrested Thursday following an investigation by the Tri-City metro Drug Task Force, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Franklin County sheriff’s office. Conversations with an informant were recorded.
Still and Symons, who live together, have been suspend from their jobs without pay.
