EVERETT — Snohomish County detectives ask for the public’s help identifying suspects in a Halloween hit-and-run between a vehicle and a pedestrian in Everett.
Around 9:50 p.m. Oct. 31, deputies responded to reports of a Ford F-150 colliding with a 47-year-old man in the 11300 block of 58th Avenue Southeast before fleeing the scene, according to a Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office social media post.
The truck initially nudged the man when he stepped into the roadway before accelerating and driving over him, the post said. A second adult near the victim grabbed onto the bed of the truck and was dragged a short distance down the road.
First responders transported the first victim to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with serious, undisclosed injuries, the post said. The second victim sustained minor injuries.
Witnesses told investigators that the suspect vehicle, containing multiple masked passengers, was driving through a residential neighborhood, stealing bowls of candy left out on porches, the post said.
Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a dark red four-door Ford F-150 from 2015 or newer, and that there would not be obvious damage to the truck, the post said. Individuals who can identify the truck or have information about the incident are asked to call the sheriff’s office’s tip line at 425-388-3845.
This remains an active investigation.
