LYNNWOOD — A Lynnwood man with a history of mental illness was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly rammed a car into two other vehicles, sending a woman to the hospital.

The man, 36, reportedly told police he believed he was God, according to a police report filed Wednesday in Everett District Court.

The incident occurred around 10:40 a.m. at the intersection of 148th Street SW and Highway 99, police said.

Police believe the man ran a stop light, crashed into one vehicle, made a U-turn and crashed into a second vehicle. He then tried to pull a woman out of the second smashed car but wasn’t successful.

A passenger in the second car was sent to the hospital as a precaution, police said.

The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault.
