Lynnwood’s Fair on 44th coming this Saturday

EVERETT — The city of Lynnwood will host its annual “Fair on 44th” on Saturday, a block party focused on community health and safety.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the city will close 44th Avenue from 188th Street Southwest to 194th Street Southwest, in front of the city’s civic campus. City departments and community organizations will line the street, sharing public health information and hosting family-friendly activities. Several local food trucks will also be on site.

Activities include free soccer lessons, tours of city vehicles, crafts and live performances. The city is partnering with Kroger to offer vaccines, including for COVID-19 and the flu.

Edmonds School District’s Nourishing Network will host a food drive for shelf-stable food items.
