Man, 94, drowns in Lake Stevens on Sunday

Officers said incident appears to be accidental.

EVERETT — A 94-year-old man drowned in Lake Stevens on Sunday.

At around 6:12 p.m., the Lake Stevens Police Department responded to a drowning incident near North Davies Road. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident appears to be an accidental drowning, according to a Lake Stevens Police Facebook post.

The investigation remains ongoing, the post said.
