Man found dead after fight, gunshot to head south of Everett

EVERETT — A man died after a gunshot wound to the head early Sunday morning south of Everett.

Around 1:30 a.m. Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a large fight and shots fired in the 600 block of 128th Street SW. Deputies found the victim, a 31-year-old from Everett, dead.

Officers believe between 10 and 20 people were fighting and multiple shots were fired.

They closed traffic on 128th Street SW between Fourth and Eighth Avenues W.

Detectives were investigating the shooting and did not share details about a suspect.
