Missing Marysville boy, 10, found safe and sound

EVERETT — A 10-year-old boy has been found safe Monday after he was last seen Sunday morning in Marysville.

Marysville police announced the news Monday in an updated social media post.

About 12:30 a.m. Monday, police received a report that Elias Wilcox, 10, had been missing since 9 a.m. Sunday when his parents said Elias left home to run the track at Totem Middle School, located at 1605 7th St. in Marysville.

Snohomish County Search and Rescue was expectd to deploy a search and rescue K-9 team Monday morning, the post said.

“Thank you to the community for your attention and help in this search,” the social media post said.
