LANGLEY — A Clinton man was killed Wednesday in a crash on the south end of Whidbey Island.

It happened around noon near the intersection of Highway 525 and Crawford Road, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.

Investigators believe Larry Poolman, 63, suffered a medical problem that caused him to cross the center line.

His southbound pickup collided with a northbound Dodge Durango. Two people in the Dodge were taken to a local hospital with injuries. Both vehicles were totaled.
