Arlington: Sex offenders meeting set for tonight

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is planning a community meeting about two registered sex offenders living in the 8600 block of 172nd Street NE.

The informational meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. today, at the Arlington Boys &Girls Club at the old Arlington High School, 135 N. French Ave.

The sex offenders have been convicted of first-degree child molestation, first-degree rape of a child and third-degree rape.

Marysville: City seeks musicians for summer

The city of Marysville is seeking musical talent for its annual Sounds of Summer concert series.

The concerts are planned for mid-July through mid-August at Comeford Park and Jennings Memorial Park.

Interested musicians or bands may call the city’s musician information line at 360-363-8451 for details on how to apply.

Stanwood: Mayor pro-tem vote tonight

The Stanwood City Council is scheduled to select a mayor pro-tem tonight during a meeting at the Stanwood-Camano School District Administration Building boardroom, 26920 Pioneer Highway.

The mayor pro-tem fills in for the mayor when he or she is not available. Shelley Klasse is currently mayor pro-tem.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
