EVERETT — Paine Field Community Day will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 17 at the Snohomish County owned airport.

The youth-focused event, in its second year, will feature aircraft displays, talks with pilots, educational opportunities and a variety of local food vendors.

Military planes expected at the event include a U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.

Also on display will be the ZeroAvia HyperTruck, a mobile ground testing platform that can be used to test systems for 40-80 seat hydrogen-electric powered aircraft. Zero Avia is based in Everett.

Paine Field Community Day will also feature special aircraft and equipment from Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum and the Sno-Isle Libraries bookmobile.

Free off-site parking is available at 9801 27th Ave W, Everett, with shuttle service to the event.
