Philippines consulate officials here to help expats

EVERETT — Officials from the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco are traveling to Everett Friday through Sunday to provide assistance to Filipino expats.
More than 450 people had signed up in advance for passport renewals, benefits from the Philippine government and other assistance.
Walk-ins can show up between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Community Resource Center on 3900 Broadway. A flag-raising ceremony is planned for 7:45 a.m. Friday.
