Spokane man jailed on 17 charges in 11 months

SPOKANE — Spokane police say a repeat offender is back behind bars thanks to a K9 named Leonidas.
Police say they have been looking for weeks for Mark W. Bush, who was wanted in a drug case.
Bush, 36, ran off as officer tried to close in Wednesday night, but the K9 officer and Leonidas were waiting and made the arrest.
Police say Bush has been booked into Spokane County Jail on 17 different possible charges in the past 11 months. He has faced 167 charges since he was 21 and has felony convictions for drug possession and assault.
