Tulalips celebrate traditional fishing

TULALIP – Tulalip tribal members will celebrate Spee-Bi-Dah, an annual celebration of traditional fishing methods, at Spee-Bi-Dah Beach today and Sunday.
This cultural event is sacred to Tulalip tribal members, and is open only to tribal members and their invited guests.
The celebration recalls the years when tribal members made their living by fishing. Tribal members will camp along the water and use beach-seine fishing techniques.
