Regarding President Trump’s pardon of former sheriff Joe Arpaio, E. J. Dionne wrote the White House has claimed the power to permit government agents to violate the constitutional rights of Americans to override the courts. My question is what U.S. citizen’s constitutional rights were violated and what article of the constitution is he referring to. If he is referring to non-citizens, who are illegal under the law, they are not covered by our constitution. Why The Herald publishes anything from the fake news is a mystery to me.
