Everett site marred by high crime area

It is very interesting that the No. 1 location for the proposed UW campus is in one of the drug hot spots needing special enforcement action by the police (Thursday article, “Judges can tell offenders, stay out”).

How could this information have been ignored or overlooked during the consultant study? It should be very clear to any person who has driven in or around the proposed sites, that the Marysville site is the best and only logical place to build the new UW campus.
