Is Joe Marine a good choice?

Oh good. After being nominated by County Executive Aaron Reardon, Mukilteo Mayor Joe Marine has been confirmed by the Snohomish County Council as the newest addition to Sound Transit’s board of directors. With his negative views on supporting scheduled airline service to Paine Field, I can only imagine how the trickle down effect will work with his views on the expansion of mass transit in the region.

Good job to council members Mike Cooper and Dave Somers for voting against this nomination. It’s unfortunate the other three members didn’t share your vision.
