Letter: VA hospitals a good reminder of the cost of freedom

On Sept. 19, in the Marysville Fred Meyer parking lot, I pulled in next to a gray truck. When I got out, I noticed a bumper sticker that melted my heart; it said “If you want to know the true price of freedom, visit a Vets Hospital,” To the owner of that truck, thank you and God bless you, for reminding those who have forgotten, that our precious freedom is not free!
