On fixed budget, we can’t afford Herald subscription increase

It’s time to say goodbye.

It is with deep regret we are canceling The Herald. After 48 years, your increase this year of $22.57 is just too much. We paid your increase of $18 last year, but enough is enough. Social Security has not had an increase in three years.

We will miss your paper, but it too is getting smaller. Is it the new owners? Sad.
