Paper documents parole problem

I want to thank The Herald, reporter Rikki King, and photojournalist Kevin Clark for the article about my struggle with the department of corrections. (Feb. 7 article, “Family fights to keep killer in prison 35 years after brutal murders.”) Many of your readers have told me they saw the story. Several new letters have been sent to the Indeterminate Sentence Review Board asking them to keep Mr. Pauley in prison.

It’s nice that Mr. Pauley has been such a good person while under 24-hour-a-day supervision. He really must want to get out.

If the death penalty had been available then, we wouldn’t have this problem now.
