Parents, please pratice water safety with your kids

Such a lovely photograph of a family, floating and playing on the river, taken by The Herald’s Kevin Clark in the Aug. 3 Herald.

We noticed one glaring issue, those darling children, ages 3 and 5, were not wearing life jackets! The Herald reports year after year the tragic stories of victims drowning in our county rivers. Please, parents, your irresponsibility could add your children’s names to the list of the lost.
