We’ve seen it before; President Trump will do or say anything to get what he wants; then, when he gets it, he doesn’t know what to do with it.
In each of the businesses he started (many of which failed), he managed to get it up and going, and then didn’t know how to run it. (It’s a good thing the family business started by his father — which forms the basis of his wealth even today — remains intact.)
Without going into specifics (which I would love to do), he’s basically treating the American government like one of his failed business ventures, and accordingly — intentionally or not — is starting to run it into the ground . The man just doesn’t know what he’s doing, but keeps right on going as long as he can delegate all the dirty work and people keep fawning all over him.
To the 49.8 percent of voters who picked him, I hope you’re (still) feeling good about our new president! So far — even after only a week — he doesn’t seem to be doing very well by the American people as a whole; or their economy.
