Rep. Suzan DelBene represents her district, its needs well

These are turbulent times in our country, the best time to have a representative we can trust, like U.S. Rep. Suzan DelBene. She has stood up for us time and again.

She knows how important the SNAP program is because she tried living on food stamps for a week. She knows about the needs of farmers because she takes the time to talk to them. She helped push through the expanded child tax credit that cut child poverty in half and is working to get it renewed. She holds town halls and takes questions from people who disagree with her, not unlike the author of a recent letter to the editor.

Today, Congress needs to stand up to the president and assert the checks and balances as written in the Constitution. I am counting on Del ene because she listens and takes action. And right now with so many cuts in USAID and threats to medicaid lives are on the line. Thank you for your critical efforts, Representative DelBene.
