Regarding the article, “Effort to overturn transgender bathroom rule falls short”: When Human Rights Commission spokesperson Sarah McBride labels “Just Want Privacy” advocates as “extreme,” it is she who “overestimates” the strength of her hand. In truth, assumptions behind the overthrow of traditional boundaries that protect modesty and secure the very foundations for sexual identity, contradict fundamental rationality with respect to justice, compassion, logic and science. Indeed this agenda, as currently framed, is built on a house of cards.
Any so-called “justice” of a kind that removes the protection of girls and women by opening their showers to boys and men cannot satisfy the scrutiny of even their own rhetoric. This is instead a travesty of justice made possible only through utterly perverting that term.
By what logic do LGBTQ advocates vilify Just Want Privacy advocates as haters (photo with article) when it is they who abolish the rightful protections of the vast majority of females? While claiming the high ground and accepting the accolades, they evade every consequence of their own decrees.
By what theory of intellectual formation are students in public schools required to identify others by pronouns that contradict their anatomy? Education as the pursuit of truth is now disintegrating into brain-washing.
The fact that their criterion for determining one’s gender has become a matter of “inner self-identity” as opposed to the objective reality of genitalia and genes, indicates that “educators” have become intolerant of even scientific facts insofar as they challenge their agenda.
The virtual absence of substantive journalistic critical-thinking on these matters is astonishing.
