Thanks to those who donate time

The Granite Falls School District would like to thank our school-based youth mentors for volunteering their time and resources. Mentors have vested themselves, enabling their mentees toward higher life goals. These volunteers arrive weekly and share a vast array of knowledge and encouragement.

A large portion of our 43 mentors have been involved in school-based mentoring for over five years. Having a special someone set some time aside once a week is a tremendous protective factor in these youths’ lives. Whether it be checking in on how their weekend was, what their plans will be, preparing them for an upcoming test, talking to them about a rough day, helping them research for a project, or just spending some relaxing time with them.

Thank you, mentors, for all that you have done and what you continue to contribute toward the future of our youth.
