The gas tax and gridlock are related

I’m writing regarding the recent mailing I received from Reps. John Lovick and Hans Dunshee:
Lovick and Dunshee sent out two brochures about traffic solutions and the gas tax. They asked, “What can we do about traffic gridlock and the high price of gas?” They talked as if the two are unrelated. How about this: Gas is too expensive because of the high taxes, and roads are congested from a lack of planning and vision by those in Olympia.
