Why give publicity to such strategy?

Regarding the fake $3 bills mocking Barack Obama: I couldn’t believe you made this into a front page news piece. You’ve

given the ignorant party behind this exactly what they were hoping for: publicity. To make matters worse, you literally told the public who made them! Is The Herald getting a commission on this?

Snohomish County Republican Party Chairwoman Geri Modrell states, “I want to apologize to anyone upset or offended by seeing it.”

Is she herself offended by this? I thought products being sold for political profit at a party booth have to be recorded prior to (state) sale. Quite odd how these slipped by without anyone’s knowledge.

This kind of dirty politics reminds me of the insecure, mean-spirited kid in school who wants to win the class president title so badly that he starts his own smear campaign by writing cruel, unkind words on bathroom walls and sending out ugly e-mails.

As they say, there’s always a positive with a negative. This all just reinforces my absolute belief in the Democratic Party.
